MALTA TOURIST VISA CHECKLIST
DOCUMENTS SHOULD NOT BE PRINTED BACK TO BACK
- Application form dully filled in and signed by the applicant
- Two recent color photographs with white background (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm).Please don’t staple the photographs to the application form
- Passport/Travel documents must
- Be valid for at least 03 months beyond the intended stay
- Be issued within the previous 10 years and not valid for more than 10 years
- At least 03 blank pages
- Last previous passport must be presented
- Overseas Travel Medical Insurance valid for all Schengen countries. The insurance must cover the applicant for at least 30,000 Euros (or equivalent) all risks (accident, illness, medical emergency, evacuation etc.) The policy must clearly specify the period of validity and must cover the entire duration of the trip including the date of arrival and departure.
- Confirmed Travel Itinerary with travel dates (with return flights for courses less than 91 days) OR issued E-ticket. Once the Visa is approved, a confirmed return flight ticket may be requested prior to Visa being issued.
- Proof of Accommodation:
- Confirmed Hotel Booking, OR ‘Declaration of Proof’ completely filled in, signed by the host, and accompanied by photocopy of host’s Malta ID Card or Passport, both in original and witnessed by (Maltese) Legal Professional.
- Proof of Sufficient Funds to cover all expenses during the entire period of travel.
- A Letter (signed and stamped) from the bank stating the available balance.
- ii) Original Bank Statements (signed and stamped) for the last 6 months ‘Declaration of Proof’ completely filled in, signed by the host accompanied by photocopy of host’s Malta ID Card or Passport. Both in original and witnessed by Maltese Legal Professional.
- For Occupation:
If employed : Salary slip last 06 months, Updated bank statement with bank seal and stamp, IT returns last 03 years, NOC letter from organization.
For Business:
Company registration Certificate, GST Certificate, Article of Memorandum, Financial documents personal as well as company (Bank statement for 6 months and Income tax return for 3 years)
- Original & photocopy of all the pages of current passport and the last previous passport.
- For Minors: a) Signature of both Parents on all pages of the application b) Notarized ‘No Objection Certificate’ by both parents or by the parent not travelling with the minor.
- Aadhaar Card (along with a photocopy)
Please Note:
- Please ensure that you have photocopies of all your documents in equal number as per the number of applications.
For e.g:
For 4 applicants there should be 4 copies of the sponsorship letter & other docs.
- Please keep two photocopies of the passport ready before you reach the counter.
- A COPY of the all the documents should be attached in EACH application.
- If you are visiting more than one Schengen country, the transfer & accommodation details for all the countries should be mentioned & highlighted in the itinerary.
- Submission of the above documentation does not guarantee that a visa is granted
- The High Commission reserves the right to request further documentation and/or personal interview

MALTA FAMILY VISIT VISA CHECKLIST

Original declaration of proof form completely filled in, witnessed by (Maltese) legal professional, and all accompanying documents requested therein.
Same declaration of proof form may be submitted for the provision of accommodation and bearing of costs by host.
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses during the entire stay in Malta.
Applicants:
- Salary slip for last 6 months
- Letter (signed and stamp) from the bank stating the available balance
- Last 06 months original bank statement
- ITR accompanied by the CPC acknowledgement (Verified) for the last 03 years
8.And if being funded by host in Malta
a) Original declaration of proof form completely filled in, witnessed by (Maltese) legal professional, and all accompanying documents requested therein:
The same declaration of proof form may submitted for the provision of accommodation and bearing of costs by host.
b) Host salary slip for last 06 months
c) Last 06 months bank statement of the host in Malta
9.Proof of relationship: Original and Certified copies of Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate and other relevant documents from Municipal authority.
10.Photocopy of the residence permit/ ID card of person residing in Malta
11.Photocopy of all pages of current and previous passport of Applicant
12.Minors:
Signature of both parents on all pages of the application:
If traveling with one of the parents, a notarized No Objection Affidavit from other parent must be provided
If traveling without parents, a notarized No Objection Affidavit from both parents must be provided
- Aadhaar Card (along with a photocopy)

MALTA BUSINESS/CONFERENCE VISA CHECKLIST

- Application Form duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
- Two recent Passport size photographs in color with white background (3.5cm by 4.5cm). Please do not staple the photographs to the Application Form.
- Passport/Travel document must:
a) Be valid for at least 3 months after the intended stay
b) Be issued within the previous 10years and not valid for more than 10years
c) Have at least 3 blank pages

6.Documents providing the Economic status of the sending and receiving company/Institution/ Individual.
a) Copy of Registration Certificate
b) Bank Statements for the last 3 months.
c) ITR accompanied by the CPC acknowledgement (verified) for the last 3 years.
7.Invitation Letter from the inviting company explaining: details regarding activities and business relations with the Indian company; particulars and professional status of the applicant/s; purpose of visit and dates of visit.
8.Covering letter from sending company explaining: details regarding activities and business relations with the Maltese company; particulars and professional status of the applicant/s; purpose of visit and dates of visit.
9.Proof of Accommodation:
i) Confirmed Hotel Booking
Or
ii) ‘Declaration of Proof’ form completely filled in, signed by the invitee and photocopy of invitee’s Malta ID card or Passport. All in original, witnessed by (Maltese) Public Notary.
10. Individual’s Proof of Sufficient Funds –salary slips OR cover letter from the bank plus bank statements (signed and stamped) for the last 6 months.
11.Original & photocopy of all the pages of current and the last previous passport.
12.Aadhaar Card (along with a photocopy)
