TYPES OF VISA

TOURIST VISA:

South Korean tourist visa is awarded to people willing to visit the Republic of Korea or South Korea for specific purposes. The visa enables a person to enter the country for sightseeing purposes, to visit friends and relatives.

BUSINESS VISA:

A Business Visa is issued to the applicant who wishes to visit South Africa to conduct the business meeting, conference, seminars etc.

Single Entry Visa:

• Only a single-entry is permitted for the duration of the visa
• Valid for 90 days from the date it had been issued

Double Entry Visa:

• Individuals, except for medical tourism visa applicants, who wants to visit Korea twice within six months of Immigration (In case of medical tourists, eligibility will be in accordance with ‘medical tourism guidelines’)
• Double-entry Visa holder can stay for 30 days in the validity of 6 months.

Multiple-entry visa:

• Multiple entries are permitted for as long as visa remains valid.
• Visa provided under multiple-entry visa Agreement: duration specified by an agreement. In case of India, Short Term Business Multiple-entry Visa holder can stay for granted length of stay in the given validity period.
• Applicants who are applying for Business visa may apply for Multiple-entry visa however Embassy of the Republic of Korea, New Delhi reserves the right to grant Multiple/Single Entry Visa to the applicants based on their discretion

WHO CAN APPLY:

Tourist Visa:

People who wish to travel South Korea for Holiday, Recreation, Visiting family and friends’ purpose or other non-business related activities can apply tourist visa.

Business Visa :

Business visa for South Korea is an endorsement that lets individuals enter the country to take part in business meetings, conferences, negotiations, trade fairs, Seminars and so on for a short duration.As an Indian citizen with an ordinary passport, you will need a South Korea business visa for Indians prior to your travel.

WHEN CAN APPLY

Tourist stream :

South Korean tourist visa is awarded to people wishing to visit the Republic of Korea or South Korea for specific purpose. This visa enables a person to enter the country for sightseeing purpose, to visit friends  and relatives. This single entry visa is valid for 03 months. Short stay visa applications for South Korea, for purpose of tourism, may be lodged up to 03 months before the intended travel date.

Business Stream :

There are several benefits to this permit. With this visa, you can visit the country to attend business meetings, exhibitions and conferences, business meetings for a branch of your own company or a sister company, or attend client meetings and other business errands.  These are classified based on the nature of business. The validity will change as per the type of visa too. . Short stay visa applications for South Korea, for purpose of Business, may be lodged up to 03 months before the intended travel date.

SOUTH KOREA TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENRS (SIGHTSEEN /TOUR)

1. Original Passport with more than 6 months’ validity.
2. Recently taken 2 passport sized colored photographs (35 mm x 45 mm, 70 % face, white back ground contrast color cloth.
3. Duly filled Visa application form by Applicant with Blue or Black ball pen in Block Letters.

4.  Occupation Proof or Employment Proof (in case of currently employed).
5.  1 Year salary slip
6.  Photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR) of last 1 year. (If unable to submit any of ITR then a letter of explanation mentioning the reason must be Submitted.
7.  In case of ownership please submit 3 year company Income Tax Return (for proprietor please submit 3 year personal ITR).
8. Recent Bank Statement of last 6 months [original or photocopy with the bank’s stamp and sign by bank Authority.
9. Company registration copy.
10. Business profile details in case of ownership in format only (Please refer download form section for format)
11. Health Condition Form.

SOUTH KOREA-VISITING  RELATIVES/FRIENDS/FAMILY (LESS THAN 90 DAYS)

1. Original Passport with more than 6 months’ validity.
2. Recently taken 2 passport sized colored photographs.
3. Duly filled Visa application form by Applicant with Blue or Black ball pen in Block Letters.
4. Occupation Proof or Employment Proof
5.  Relation Proof (if visiting relative).
6. Photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR) of last 1 year. (If unable to submit any of ITR or Bank Statement then a letter of explanation mentioning the reason must be Submitted).
7. Copy of recent Bank Statement of last 6 months [original or photocopy with the bank’s stamp and sign by bank Authority]
8. Health Condition Form (Please refer to home page).

From Korea

9. Invitation letter from Korea (Original invitation letter or scan copy or photocopy can be submitted)
10. Alien Registration Card of Inviter (scan copy or photocopy can be submitted).
11. Copy of passport of Inviter (scan copy or photocopy can be submitted). OR In case of Korean inviter – Passport Copy of Inviter (scan copy or photocopy can be submitted).

SOUTH KOREA – TO ATTEND MARRIAGE (LESS THAN 90 DAYS)

1. Original Passport with more than 6 months’ validity.
2. Recently taken 2 passport sized colored photographs
3. Duly filled Visa application form by Applicant with Blue or Black ball pen in Block Letters.
4. Relation Proof (If any)
5. Occupation Proof or Employment Proof.
6. Photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR) of last 1 year. (If unable to submit any of ITR or Bank Statement, then a letter of explanation mentioning the reason must be submitted).
7. Copy of recent Bank Statement of last 6 months [original or photocopy with the bank’s stamp and sign by bank Authority.
8. Health Condition Form (Please refer to home page).
9. Consent for Isolation Form

FROM KOREA

10. Invitation Letter (Attestation is not required, either original invitation letter or scan copy or photocopy can be submitted).
11. Original or Photocopy of Marriage Invitation Card.
12. Copy (of both sides) of Alien Registration Card of Inviter (scan copy or photocopy can be submitted). OR In case of Korean inviter – Passport Copy of Inviter (scan copy or photocopy can be submitted).

SOUTH KOREA  MEDICAL TOURISM (LESS THEAN 90 DAYS)

1. Original Passport with more than 6 months’ validity.
2. Recently taken 2 passport sized colored photographs.
3. Duly filled Visa application form by Applicant with Blue or Black ball pen in Block Letters.
4. Doctor’s Reference Letter / Medical treatment documents by medical institute.
5. Occupation Proof or Employment Proof.
6. Photocopy of Income Tax Return (ITR) of last 1 year. (If unable to submit any of ITR or Bank Statement then a letter of explanation mentioning the reason must be Submitted).
7. Copy of recent Bank Statement of last 6 months [original or photocopy with the bank’s stamp and sign by bank Authority].
