 E-Visa for Official:

Business people travelling to Malaysia for a short business visit need an E-Visa for official. This includes going to a conference, Negotiation or Meeting (As long as the visit is not engaging any employment (paid or unpaid) you may enter the country by using tourist visa.)

 

E-Visa for Medical:

Patients under MHTP (Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council) whowish to enter and stay in Malaysia for Medical Treatment should have an E-visa.

An E-Visa for Tourist is valid for one who needs visa for a single journey to Malaysia for the purpose of tourism

An E-Visa is valid for a single journey to Malaysia with 3 months validity and 30 days stay

If the visit / trip is only for business meeting, discussion, negotiation etc.and if the visit is not engaging any employment (paid or unpaid), you may enter the country by using tourist visa.

 

 Medical 

Applicant can only apply E-Visa for Medical if they seek treatment with any of MHTC member hospitals.

Applicant would get an appointment letter from any one of the MHTC member hospital prior to the E-Visa application. Applicant would need to apply E-Visa for Medical 14 working days prior to the travel date and hospital Appointment date

 

The Right Time to Apply for a Visa in Malaysia

 

Tourist Stream:

People who wish to travel Malaysia for Holiday, Recreation or Visit family friends they can apply tourist Visa. It is advisable to apply for a Malaysia e-visa 30 days before the travel date. Malaysia online visa will be processed only for Indian passport holders that are travelling from India. Visa validity is 30 days.

E-Visa is an online application platform that enables foreign nationals to apply for an electronic visa to enter Malaysia at the comfort of your convenience. Below are the documents that need to be scanned and uploaded with your application.

  2. Online application form
  3. Two Photographs: the dimensions of the photo should be 35 mm x 50 mm, your face should be occupy between 60 to 70% photo)
  4. Confirmed return ticket
  5. Proof of Accommodation
  6. Covid Vaccination Certificate
  7.  Applicant Email id and contact no
  8.  Birth Certificate for minor applicants
  9. Other supporting documents

 

eNTRI Visa

 

It is valid for 03 months with a maximum stay of 15 days in Malaysia. The eNTRI visa is only valid for one entry.
