Types of Visas:

Tourist Visa:

This visa is only for tourism purpose such as sightseeing, recreation, or travelling across the country on tour.

Business Visa:

This visa allows you to enter the country for Business, trade exhibitions or training courses.

People who can Apply:

Tourists:

Travelers who wish to travel Egypt for sightseeing, excursions, recreation, visit relatives can apply as a tourist.

A traveler visiting Egypt for a short stay for above purpose must obtain a prior approval (Visa) before departure.

Businessmen:

One who wants to visit Egypt to conduct business or commercial activities like meetings, conferences, training, workshops and seminars can apply for this visa.

With this visa, one can visit Egypt to attend a business event for a branch of your own company or a sister company, or attend client meetings and other business errands.

Right Time toApply for a Visa to Egypt

Tourist Stream:

One who wishes to travel to Egypt for the purpose of tourism/visit family &friends can apply Egypt tourist visa.

Egypt tourist visa can be applied1 month before your date of travel while Tourist visa allow you to stay up to 30 days from date of travel.

Business Stream:

If you have been invited to a business conference or you wish to attend a seminar or client meetings, you shouldhavethe Invitation letter fromtheguest organization.

The validity offered by the Visa is 6 months and the stay permitted per visit will vary from 30 days to 90 days. It even allows you multiples entries to Egypt.

EGYPT TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS:

1. The Applicant should have a valid passport for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay in Egypt
2. Two Visa application forms
3. Two recent color photographswith white background(taken within 03 months)

• 35mm x 45mm
• Face size 80% of photo

4. Confirmed onward/return air ticket
5. A covering letter for purpose of visit
6. Onward visa and proof of funds. Foreign exchange endorsements of copy of International credit card
7. Passport 1st page, 2^nd, last page, and air tickets photocopy must be enclosed
8. Hotel confirmation from tour operator
9. Original bank statement for last 6 months with bank seal and stamp. If applicant is holding passbook, it should be original. The bank balance should be minimum Rs. 80,000 INR.
10. Income tax return for last 3 years
11. Occupation proof
12. Invitation letter and Invitee ID card copy required if visit relatives.(Both English and Arabic language).

EGYPT BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS

1. The applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay in Egypt
2. Two visa application forms
3. Two passport size color photographs with white back ground (taken within 03 months)

• 35 mm x 45 mm
• Face size 80% of the photo

4. Confirmed onward/return air ticket
5. A covering letter from Indian company
6. A letter of Invitation from the Business Associates in Egypt. A copy should be faxed directly to the Embassy
7. A letter specifying the full details of the Inviter
8. Proof of funds, Foreign exchange endorsements or copy of International credit card
9. Original latest bank statement for the last six months with bank seal and stamp and if applicant is holding passbook then it should be in original. The bank balance should be at least Rs. 80,000 INR.
10. Income tax returns for the last 03 years
11. Passport first, second and last page and Air tickets photocopy must be enclosed
12. Hotel confirmation or Proof of stay in Egypt
