Visitor Visa/Family Visit:
Visitor visa is provided for those who are visiting family / friends in Austria. The inviter has to provide a guarantee on behalf of the applicant for this visa.
Student Visa/Research Visa/Internship Visa:
This Visa is granted for those who want to do an internship in Austria. Those who intend to work longer than six months should apply for a residency-permit, and not for a visa.
Work Visa:
This category applies to people who wish to travel to Austria for work not more than 90 days up to 3 months. Confirmation of the Labour Market Service (AMS) is required.

Work Stream:
People who wish to travel to Austria for work not more than 90 days and up to 03 months shouldreceive the Work permit/Work contract from Austria.
Right Time to Apply:
Tourist Visa:
People who wish to travel Austria for Holiday and Recreation purposethey can apply tourist Visa. Applications cannot be submitted 6 months prior to departure.
Business Visa:
People who wish to travel Austria to attend a business meeting,conference and receive an Invitation letter from Austria counterpart they are eligible for Business Visa. Applications cannot be submitted 6 months prior to departure.
Family Visit Visa:
Once you have received an Invitation from any immediate family members in Austria or friends then you are eligible for Visitor visa.(Original Invitation required).Applications cannot be submitted 6 months prior to departure.
Study Visa:
Any prospective student going to attend Academic or Vocational courses and Received the offer letter from College or University and paid the Tuition fees they can apply study Visa.
Work Visa:
People who received the Work-permit/ Contract letter or Approval letter from Labour market in Austria, they can apply work visa.
